Textbook: Introduction to Commercial Modular Construction
The Modular Building Institute and Clemson University worked together for over two years to develop coursework detailing the modular building process versus traditional site-built construction. This textbook is designed to help the reader understand terminology and concepts of modular building including client needs, design, fabrication, transportation, and installation.
MBI is continuing to work with Clemson to create a test that will accompany the book - a passing score on the exam will earn the student a professional designation recognized throughout the industry.
