Architectural Excellence

The 3,808 sq. ft. modular bank for 5Point Credit Union in Magnolia, TX, combines modern design with functionality. Inside, sliding glass doors span throughout, excluding the teller area, while an architectural ceiling and a secure bank safe enhance both the customer experience and operational efficiency. On the exterior, drive-through ATMs and eco-scaping landscaping complement the well-planned parking lot, which maximizes space in a tight area.

The building’s design blends seamlessly with its surroundings, harmonizing effortlessly with neighboring properties like McDonald’s. This is thanks to meticulous grading and drainage coordination that ensures the structure fits naturally into its environment. With a modular layout consisting of multiple well-planned units, the bank offers excellent accessibility, creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers.

Technical Innovation & Sustainability

By choosing modular construction, 5Point Credit Union was able to open its doors much sooner than expected—saving four months in construction time. Roof-mounted HVAC units, featuring high-efficiency ERVs and dehumidification systems, ensure long-term comfort while optimizing energy efficiency. Sustainability was a key focus, with recycled steel and drywall incorporated to reduce environmental impact. Unique challenges, such as coordinating site work with the neighboring McDonald’s, were addressed through careful grading and drainage solutions. These innovative strategies, paired with the flexibility of modular design, not only met high environmental standards but also kept the project on track for a quicker turnaround.

Cost Effectiveness

The modular approach provided cost savings by reducing construction time, allowing 5Point Credit Union to open sooner and start generating revenue. Materials like recycled steel and drywall helped reduce environmental impact while keeping costs manageable. Pacific Mobile Structures worked closely with Indicom Buildings Inc., Adrenalin Architecture, and CMHS to streamline the design and installation process, ensuring a smooth, efficient project. The use of modular units facilitated easier site preparation and reduced labor costs, leading to overall efficiency. The building’s design and materials were selected to ensure long-term durability and sustainability, offering excellent value for the client.
