Quartz Properties Returns to Inc. 5000 Amid Growing Demand for Innovative Housing Solutions

For the second year in a row, Quartz Properties Management (Quartz) has earned a place on the Inc. 5000, a list of America’s fastest-growing private companies. Founded in 2018, QPM is a residential development and construction platform delivering high-quality, attainably priced homes by harnessing the speed and efficiency of offsite construction.

The company’s presence on the list again in 2025, this time ranked number 583, showcases the strength of its off-site-first development platform and commitment to innovation in an industry facing mounting cost, labor, and supply chain challenges.

This year’s recognition comes in the wake of Hurricane Helene, which struck Western North Carolina in late 2024. While Quartz’s Asheville communities, including Belle Meadow, were spared from major damage, the storm’s devastation deepened the region’s already severe housing shortage. The Quartz team quickly pivoted to support recovery efforts while pressing forward with the delivery of much-needed rental housing.

Beyond immediate relief, the company sees Helene as a call to action for the housing industry: to scale offsite construction as a resilient, rapidly deployable solution for replacement and affordable housing. As climate-related disasters grow more frequent, the benefits of modular and HUD-compliant housing—speed, quality control, cost predictability, and storm resistance—are more critical than ever.
