Architectural Excellence
Alpine, Wyoming, boasts stunning mountain beauty but faces extreme high-altitude climates. This modular residence combines functionality, efficiency, and durability, designed to endure these conditions while providing adaptable, comfortable living. The layout optimizes space with modular units tailored to the needs of a seasonal resort workforce. A sloped roof efficiently sheds snow, while a large modern porte-cochère offers sheltered entry, enhancing both utility and appeal.
Durable materials—metal and cementitious siding—reflect the rugged landscape, blending natural and contemporary aesthetics. Expansive windows capture scenic views, maximizing light and warmth. Open interiors, clean lines, warm finishes, and energy-efficient systems boost comfort and sustainability, harmonizing with Wyoming’s environment for resilience, low maintenance, and modular excellence.
Technical Innovation & Sustainability
Very efficient combination of features and floor space. Sloped roof and sheltered entry designed to meet extreme snowfall. Roof was built on the podium while modules shipped, then crane set immediately following module set completion, dramatically reducing dry-in and roof completion time and weather-related risk. Near-zero waste onsite minimized environmental impact in this pristine setting. Two-truck set process eliminated downtime and enabled completion in less than two weeks. Overall efficiencies across the board enabled start-to-finish completion time in just eight months and a minimal disruption in terms of noise, traffic, or negative impact on the scenic location.
Cost Effectiveness
Well-timed and executed logistics minimized, build time/cost, materials waste, shipping costs, set time and cost. A time-to-revenue advantage of 10 months (8 months vs an estimated minimum of 18 months to build onsite) enables much faster payback and also allows for a soft launch of the property during the construction off-season. The speed to market and mixed use design (hospitality and workforce housing) will save investors’ costs of vacancy while enabling them to more affordably house their own construction crews for other projects in the area. Housing that provides cooking amenities offers a more economical housing option for both construction crew tenants and traveling healthcare staff for the clinic located nearby in Alpine.
