Architectural Excellence

The temple combines Romanesque and Art Deco styles, integrating with Helena’s historical buildings while adding a modern touch. The exterior showcases a unique Buttercup plant motif in 2D and 3D, creating a captivating façade. Buttressing and horizontal bands resemble natural rock formations, adding depth. The decorative detail band, pilasters, and grilles feature the Buttercup motif. The tower gracefully rises with a gilded peak. Art glass windows depict the plant with golden tones and textured glass. Inside, flooring options reflect the Art Deco theme, complemented by decorative painting and art glass. Lighting fixtures utilize acrylic, crystal, and brass. The millwork follows Art Deco style, while font railings and doors display geometric forms in aluminum and cherry wood.

Technical Innovation & Sustainability

In the construction and design industry, innovation is crucial for efficient, budget-friendly, and high-quality project completion. An excellent example of this can be seen in the Temple’s decorative painting. Traditionally, this process required skilled artisans and took months to complete. However, the project team found a faster and more efficient approach. They collaborated with a local vendor to print the desired colors onto canvas, which was then installed on-site. This innovative method significantly reduced the time needed while achieving a luxurious aesthetic. The Church can replicate this technique in future projects, saving time and money. Modular manufacturing also plays a role in minimizing material waste and optimizing production efficiency.

Cost Effectiveness

The Helena, Montana Temple showcases the cost-effective benefits of modular technology. With a reduced footprint achieved through modular construction, significant cost savings were realized. Additionally, the faster construction timeline, achieved by simultaneous on-site construction and factory fabrication of prefabricated components, resulted in substantial cost savings. This efficient approach ensured timely completion of the building while meeting the client’s requirements.
