RISE Modular Strengthens Executive Leadership Team with Two Experienced Leaders to Support National Expansion

RISE Modular has expanded its executive leadership team with the addition of Ned Dodington as Vice President of Business Development and Strategy and Jeff Winter as Vice President of People, positioning the company for its next phase of growth as demand for volumetric modular construction continues to accelerate nationwide.

The appointments reflect RISE’s continued investment in the leadership needed to support its expanding portfolio of multifamily and hospitality projects. The company has broadened its national footprint through partnerships with developers, owners and general contractors on projects in Colorado, Missouri, Wyoming, Wisconsin, California and other emerging markets, helping clients deliver projects faster, more efficiently and with greater cost certainty through volumetric modular construction.

Dodington to Lead Business Development and Strategy

Dodington joins RISE with nearly 20 years of experience spanning architecture, real estate development and market leadership. As Vice President of Business Development and Strategy, he is responsible for shaping the company’s market positioning, refining its value proposition and identifying new opportunities, products and partnerships that meet the evolving needs of developers and owners.

Prior to joining RISE, Dodington spent nine years with Greystar, ultimately serving as Director of Development for the Minneapolis office, where he led the delivery of more than 2,000 multifamily apartment homes across three metropolitan markets representing nearly $1 billion in investment. Earlier in his career, he was a project architect with Gensler’s Houston Mixed-Use Studio, working on large-scale corporate, student housing and mixed-use developments.

A licensed architect, Dodington is also a recognized thought leader in the built environment. His research on bio-inclusive architecture has been published in peer-reviewed journals, and he has presented a TEDx Talk on the topic while speaking at colleges and universities across North America. He remains active with the Urban Land Institute and the American Institute of Architects and serves on the board of Normandale Housing Corporation, which provides transitional housing for families experiencing homelessness.

Winter to Lead People Strategy

Winter brings more than 20 years of human resources and talent acquisition leadership experience, with a focus on building teams and developing workforce strategies for manufacturing and high-growth organizations. Throughout his career, he has helped companies navigate growth, strengthen their talent pipelines and create employee experiences that support long-term success.

His experience includes leading talent acquisition and workforce strategy initiatives for manufacturing organizations such as Rivian and The Toro Company, as well as supporting rapidly scaling companies in technology and other evolving industries. That combination of manufacturing expertise and growth-stage experience provides valuable perspective as RISE continues expanding its operations and workforce.

As Vice President of People, Winter leads RISE’s talent strategy, employee development initiatives and organizational programs designed to support the company’s continued growth. His focus is on creating the systems and opportunities that allow employees to progress with the company while maintaining the collaborative culture that has fueled RISE’s success.

Before joining RISE full time, Winter worked with the company as a consultant, giving him firsthand insight into its leadership team, manufacturing operations and long-term vision.
