- Entry Objective
We worked with Marriott to create this video that explains the reasoning behind their modular initiative. Marriott was interested in creating this video with us to help their developers understand all of the benefits they (Marriott) have discovered with modular construction. We knew the message to developers would have the greatest impact if delivered by their peers, so we took advantage of a factory tour where we would have a lot in one location. Throughout the tour, we watched critics turn into believers. As the light bulbs began to turn on, we pulled individuals aside and conducted a quick interview.
The biggest testimonial of all is delivered by executives from Marriott, the largest hotel brand in the world. Having Marriott’s seal of approval in a marketing piece co-branded by them, gives the modular industry the mainstream notoriety that it needs and deserves.
- Effect on Sales, Visits, or Inquiries
Though we have yet to campaign this video on a mass scale, we’ve seen great responses in presentations we have done and one-on-one client meetings. It’s very powerful to stand at a microphone and play a video that adds dozens of testimonials to your own in the way that this video does. The one-on-one and small group distribution is having a significant and positive impact.
This marketing piece is a benefit to the entire modular industry. The message is clearly targeted to promote modular construction as a whole.
