    2010 Outstanding Achievement Recipient

Michael Mount of Sunbelt Modular graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.A. He then started his career in the commercial mobile office trailer business in 1977 for Designed Facilities in Los Angeles, CA (which later became a Gelco Company, Design Space International). He moved to Dallas, TX in 1983 to work for Space Master International/Morgan Buildings until 1986 when he founded Indicom Buildings, Inc., a wholesale manufacturer.

He continued to operate Indicom until 2007 when it was sold to investors forming Sunbelt Modular, Inc. At the time, Indicom was manufacturing over 1,000 floors, making his company the largest wholesale manufacturer in the state of Texas.  He remained as President of Indicom until his retirement in January 2010.
Mike served on the MBI board of directors for six years, including four on the Executive Committee.  He was president of the association in 2007 and has chaired the Nominations Committee and the Past President's Council.
Mike has also served the industry in other capacities, including as a member of the Texas Industrialized Building Code Council.

He is a strong supporter of both the association and its related educational foundation.

Married to his wife Leslie for 35 years and the father of four children ages 18-28, Mike now looks forward to continuing to find ways to promote the industry that he has devoted his last 33 years to.
