First Hospital Project in U.S. with
Major Prefabricated Components

Premier Health Partners recently built a 500,000 sq. ft., 12-story addition to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. It is believed to be the first major hospital construction project in the U.S. using prefabrication of all major mechanical, electrical and plumbing components. At Miami Valley, prefabrication yielded higher quality construction, a safer work environment, and a faster construction schedule.  The success of this project raises the question, if prefabrication can be used on a large-scale hospital project, what other complex construction projects can it be used for?
