When does World of Modular start?

World of Modular begins on Friday, March 17, 2017. The exhibit hall is scheduled to be open on Saturday, March 18.


When will registration open?

Registration is now open. You can register online or by filling out a form and sending it to MBI. Visit the register page for more details.


What is the cancellation policy?

Once payment for your registration has been received by MBI, a confirmation will be mailed, faxed, or emailed to you. If you do not receive a confirmation within two weeks of registering, contact us immediately. Full refunds for attendees, one day passes, and spouse/guests (not exhibitors), less a US $100 processing fee per registrant, will be granted for requests made in writing to MBI by February 12, 2017. No refunds will be given after this date. Registrants that fail to attend the convention without notifying MBI prior to February 12, 2017 will be responsible for the full registration fee. All of the above are subject to change without notice.


Is World of Modular open to the public?

Yes, World of Modular is an open forum for anyone interested in the modular construction industry. For suppliers of building products, services, and financing, the MBI trade show remains the best place to reach manufacturers and dealers of modular buildings. Registration fees apply.


Are children allowed on the show floor?

During normal show hours, persons 17 years old and under will be admitted only with parental supervision. THIS RULE IS STRICTLY ENFORCED. Persons 18 years old and over must register and pay in order to receive a badge.


Do I need a VISA to visit the show?

Generally, a citizen of a foreign country who wishes to enter the United States must first obtain a visa, either a nonimmigrant visa for temporary stay, or an immigrant visa for permanent residence. IMPORTANT: If you are an international visitor to World of Modular 2017, please be reminded that the United States government has instituted new, tighter visa requirements for non-immigrant applicants. This may lengthen the time it takes to process your visa application. Make sure you begin your visa application early and well in advance of your travel dates.

Where is my badge?

If you registered for World of Modular, you should have received a confirmation email. You will be issued a badge onsite for admission to the convention/ trade show. Badges are not mailed.


Do you offer special discounts for hotels?

Yes, special room discounts will be available at the JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa. Visit the Destination page to view details. You are responsible for making your own hotel and travel arrangements.
